What do you enjoy about being a senator?

“The opportunity to initiate and watch real change take place on campus. The amount of power bestowed on us senators is a huge honor.”

What do you hope to achieve as a Senator?

“First and foremost, I want to be available to the Meadows community by relaying their issues and making sure their voices are equally represented. Simultaneously, I hope to contribute to making the intricacies of student senate better, and representing the needs of the student body.”

What is your favorite thing about SMU?

“The dynamic of professors/courses offered, the opportunity to be involved in various extra curricular activities as well as other programs such as study abroad, internships and networking opportunities collectively contribute to making SMU my favorite university.”

What do you enjoy most about being a senator:

“I love meeting my constituents and having people come up to me and say, ‘Hey Jaimmy, I need you to fix this about SMU, I know you’ll get on it!’ They trust me to help them.”

What do you hope to achieve as senator:

“I just really want to help the students of Meadows feel more apart of SMU as a whole and make sure their ideas and concerns are taken into consideration in every aspect.”

What is your favorite thing about SMU:

“I love SMU’s overall school spirit. You can tell that everyone loves their school and that everyone wants to be here!”
