Meet Your 2011-12 International Senator Candidate

Like the position of Student Body Secretary, the International Senator seat has one candidate running unopposed.

That person is Jingjing Yang, a freshman pre-business major.

Why are you running for International Senator?

I want to represent the international students and be their voice.

What do you hope to accomplish as International Senator if you’re elected?

I want to see to it that the International Students’ concerns are being addressed, so that they will have an enjoyable time at SMU.

What’s your campaign slogan (if you have one)?

“Do the right thing, vote for Jingjing”

Why should SMU students vote for you?

Everything I do, I do so in the best interest of the entire SMU student body.

What’s your favorite thing about SMU?

The Boulevard

What, if anything, needs to change at SMU?

Ensure reading days are included in every academic semester.
